What will be the eligibility requirement for the seniors living accommodation?
Anyone who is over 55 and retired will be eligible for the seniors living accommodation
What is the eligibility requirement for the disability housing?
To be eligible for the disability housing you must be approved and eligible for Supported Disability Accommodation (SDA) by the National Disability Insurance Scheme. If you meet the criteria for SDA funding under the NDIS you will then be able to apply for the disability accommodation when the units are constructed and open.
Can I put my name on a waiting list for accommodation?
You can express an interest in applying for the accommodation sending us an email form our contact page.
We are only taking expressions of interest at this stage as the facility is not expected to open until October 2022 at the earliest. When construction is nearing completion then we will contact you to see if you still wish to apply for accommodation.
How much will the rent be?
Because construction is some way off, we have not set rent rates yet. They will be set at a fair market rate for the seniors living and the disability housing rents will be determined by the NDIS criteria.
When will the accommodation be available?
We anticipate lodging the construction certificate by March 2021 and the construction time fame is estimated to be 18 months. The earliest units will be ready to be occupied will be October 2022.
